THE TRANSIT OFFICE

Transit news by the makers of Headway

The Transit Office is a daily roundup of public transport news from around the world — buses, trams, metros, trolleybuses and suburban rail: the systems that move cities every morning.

Each day we read hundreds of local outlets in a dozen languages and keep the stories that matter: new lines and network redesigns, fare and season-ticket changes, fleet electrification, funding decisions, strikes, and the operators behind them. Local reporting, not press releases.

It is published by the team building Headway, a turn-based transit management sim — because you cannot design a game about running a transit network without reading what happens to the real ones.
